Detroit Red Wings clipped by Philadelphia Flyers, 3-2, in overtime

Philadelphia Flyers forward Travis Konecny scored 27 seconds into overtime, handing the Detroit Red Wings a 3-2 loss on Tuesday night at Little Caesars Arena.

Dylan Larkin lost the puck at the blue line, where Konecny picked it up, carried it in on Petr Mrazek and fired the game-winner. After a lengthy review, to determine whether Konecny was offsides, the goal was upheld. Konecny had skated back over the blue line before he touched the loose puck, then went on to score his ninth goal of the season.

Happy returns

Luke Glendening assisted on both goals for the Red Wings in his first game back from a wrist injury.
