Detroit Red Wings announce camp teams, and Dan Cleary is on one

The rosters for training camp reveal just how sparse the Detroit Red Wings are through next week.

Teams Howe, Lindsay and Yzerman were revealed today, the latter team name replacing Delvecchio. The roster is depleted by the seven Wings who are a part of the World Cup of Hockey: newcomers Frans Nielsen and Thomas Vanek, fellow forwards Dylan Larkin, Justin Abdelkader and Tomas Tatar, defenseman Alexey Marchenko and goaltender Petr Mrazek.

Although Abdelkader’s U.S. team won’t advance after losing its first two games, Wings coach Jeff Blashill said he has told his World Cup players to report no earlier than Tuesday.
