Now that the Detroit Red Wings were eliminated from the Stanley Cup playoffs last night, it’s time to reflect on the 2015-16 season. This season saw new faces as well as old and a new era began under a new head coach.
With the 2015-16 season came many ups-and-downs. Let’s discuss the positive and negatives from this season.
Positives:
The emergence of Dylan Larkin this season is a huge positive for the Detroit Red Wings moving forward. Larkin had a stellar rookie season, accumulating 45 points in 80 games. He deserves a Calder Memorial Trophy for his efforts but it remains to be seen if he will receive one.
