Detroit 4, Calgary 2: Red Wings get 800th win at JLA

The Red Wings scored three straight goals in the second period and went on to earn their 800th win at Joe Louis Arena.

The Wings trailed, 1-0, early in the second period. They scored three unanswered goals in the second and went on to beat the Calgary Flames, 4-2, on Sunday night.

The Wings are 800-408-119-68 since moving to Joe Louis Arena in December 1979.

Rookie forward Dylan Larkin, Brad Richards and Gustav Nyquist scored in the second period. Justin Abdelkader scored an empty-net goal with 30 seconds left in the game.

Larkin and Nyquist are tied for the team lead with 12 goals apiece.
