The Detroit Red Wings are showing something this season that bodes well for their future.
They don’t have the talent that marks a Stanley Cup contender, and that’s why they’re best off in the draft lottery, but they have character, they have fight. They can feel good about themselves headed into Sunday’s game against the defending Stanley Cup champions after putting on a terrific performance against one of the best teams in the NHL, culminating with Dylan Larkin putting the game away in overtime.
