Filip Zadina is about to get a chance to show the Detroit Red Wings what they have in him.
Jeff Blashill opened his post-game press conference with a welcome bit of news: the team’s prize pick from the 2019 draft will make his NHL debut Sunday.
“He can get a couple games at home here,” Blashill said after the Wings lost an uninspired game to the Minnesota Wild, 3-2, Friday at Little Caesars Arena.
