DETROIT, MICH — It has been confirmed, today the DDA, Illitch Holdings, and the Detroit Pistons held a press conference at Cass Tech High School to announce the tentative plan that would move the NBA’s Detroit Pistons from Auburn Hills to downtown Detroit, in the city’s newest facility, Little Caesar’s Arena.
Obviously there are a lot of pieces that have yet to fall into place — The city council still needs to approve much of this, but we’ll keep you updated as information becomes available. For now, we’re going to withhold any opinions until it all shakes out.
