GRAND RAPIDS -- After a crazy start, Detroit Red Wings prospect Martin Frk may end the season with a celebration.
Frk has a bit of swagger to him as the Grand Rapids Griffins head into Friday’s Game 1 of the Calder Cup Final against the Syracuse Crunch. After sitting out the first round recovering from injury, Frk has put up nine points in 10 games, four straight dating to Game 2 of the Western Conference final. Frk has used his big, right-handed shot to earn five power play assists, and has thrived on a line with Tyler Bertuzzi and Tomas Nosek.
