The Saginaw Spirit continue to expand their ownership group and today three-time Stanley Cup champion Chris Osgood and Saginaw businessman Brandon Bordeaux to the mix.
The Spirit had previously announced that Hockey Hall of Famer Jim Devellano, Detroit Red Wings senior vice president and former GM, was joining the organization as a minority partner/alternate governor.
Osgood, 43, helped the Wings win Stanley Cup titles in 1997, 1998 and 2008. He ranks 10th all-time in NHL regular-season victories (401) and his .539 winning percentage ranks fourth all-time.
Osgood will continue to work on Red Wings television broadcasts for Fox Sports Detroit as a studio analyst and color commentator.
