DETROIT – The Detroit Red Wings, trying to snap a three-game losing streak and improve their playoff chances, were tied 2-2 with the Winnipeg Jets late in the second period Thursday at Joe Louis Arena.

After falling behind 2-0 in the first period, the Red Wings tied it when Dylan Larkin and Jonathan Ericsson scored less than six minutes apart in the second.

Larkin's goal was his first in eight games and made him the first Red Wings rookie since Henrik Zetterberg in 2002-03 to reach the 20-goal mark. Zetterberg, who assisted on Larkin's goal, had 22 in his first NHL season.
