The Washington Capitals have had a pretty fun summer.
A little to fun when it comes to celebrating with the Stanley Cup, it appears.
Folks at the Hockey Hall of Fame have reached out and politely ask that the players stop doing keg stands with the Cup. The 126-year-old trophy could get damaged.
"I have nothing against keg stands," Hockey Hall of Fame vice president Phil Pritchard told USA TODAY Sports. "My goal is only to preserve the Stanley Cup. If they could do keg stands without grabbing the Cup, then great.
