GRAND RAPIDS - Members of the Grand Rapids Griffins got the final piece of the Calder Cup title run with the arrival of their individual championship rings.
The rings, produced by Terryberry in Grand Rapids, arrived Monday afternoon and were presented at a private team gathering.
Each ring features the Griffins' "GRG" shield on top cover with the logos and trophies of the Griffins and Detroit Red Wings on the sides with the scores from the series. Inside each ring has the inscription "HFWYG" for "how far would you go?"
Overall, 132 gemstones were used to make each one.
