By The Numbers will highlight the Red Wings on-ice accomplishments in the 2014-15 season. Each week during the off-season, By The Numbers will profile a different player on the team, focusing on their statistical highs. This week we focus on forward Stephen Weiss.
“Last year was tough going through those injuries, kind of hurt me this year.,” Weiss said. “Didn’t get in the lineup right away. Still going through a bit of issues when I did get in the lineup. That took some time. Felt like I played really well when I got back and then for whatever reason fell down the lineup and just couldn’t recover.
