By The Numbers will highlight the Red Wings on-ice accomplishments in the 2014-15 season. Each week during the off-season, By The Numbers will profile a different player on the team, focusing on their statistical highs. This week we focus on defenseman Kyle Quincey.
“I take a lot of positives from (the season),” Quincey said. “Obviously had that ankle issue but I felt like I did a pretty good job battling through that. It should be way better next year after the surgery. I feel like mentally I got a lot better. The game for me slowed down and was kind of, I don’t know, I felt I was more patient, kind of fit in my role better.
