After suffering two defeats to the Bruins in December, the Red Wings will have yet another tough task against one of the top teams in the Eastern Conference.
The Bruins have put together a tremendous last few weeks, winning seven of their last eight games. As a result, they have moved up the Atlantic Division table and sit just five points away from first place.
Despite the 20 point gap between the two sides, this game will still hold importance for the Red Wings. They are currently in a three-way tie at 50 points for fourth place in the division.
