Bertuzzi late goal stems Columbus rally and gives Wings dramatic victory

Columbus, Ohio — There’s been plenty of candidates for the Red Wings’ worst game this season.

Several (Boston, Montreal, Carolina) losses come to mind.

This one had all sorts of emotions in the third period, but ultimately it was joy — and easily the most enjoyable win thus far this season — after a 5-3 victory over Columbus Tuesday.

Tyler Bertuzzi scored his fifth goal at 16 minutes, 36 seconds to break a 3-3 tie and stem a Wings' third-period collapse after having led 3-0 entering the final 20 minutes.

Dennis Cholowski made the play, skating in from the point to behind the net before finding Bertuzzi in front.
