DETROIT - Anthony Mantha looks poised for a breakout season. The Calgary Flames would agree.
Mantha scored a pair of power-play goals and assisted on another Wednesday to power the Detroit Red Wings past the Calgary Flames 8-2 at Little Caesars Arena.
Mantha has six points (three goals, three assists) in less than week during two games against the Flames. He leads the Red Wings with 10 goals and 19 points.
The Red Wings (9-8-2) scored a season-high goal total. They are 1-0-1 on this five-game homestand, the start of a stretch that seems them playing 13-of-15 at LCA.
