The 2020 Michigan Sports Hall of Fame class packs a punch full of stars and nostalgia.
Calvin Johnson, Chauncey Billups, Chris Webber and a host of other greats are on the ballot, revealed Monday, to be decided by fans in an online vote through April 30.
Finalists are split into four categories: Professional, amateur, coaches and media.
Former longtime Free Press photographer Mary Schroeder is a media finalist. A pioneer in a male dominated industry, she joined the Free Press in 1979 and is best known for her photograph of Kirk Gibson with his arms raised in celebration of his game-sealing home run in Game 5 of the 1984 World Series at Tiger Stadium.
