The Detroit Pistons were very active at the trade deadline.
They traded away two of their small forwards in Reggie Bullock and Stanley Johnson. Johnson wasn’t working out and needed a change of scenery, but Bullock was the team’s best shooter.
This had many fans thinking they were just selling their assets and giving up on this season; with the mindset of looking toward this summer and after.
By trading those two, the Pistons cleared cap space and gave themselves flexibility moving forward to build a team around Blake Griffin and Andre Drummond.
