When the Pistons traded their 2020 second round pick to the Phoenix Suns for Marcus Morris, Reggie Bullock, and Danny Granger, it seemed like a forgone conclusions that Granger would be a casualty before the regular season began.
There’s still a strong chance of that happening–the Pistons have 18 players going into training camp and need to cut that number down to 15–but Van Gundy isn’t ruling out Granger just yet.

“It’s trying to sort out exactly what he wants, what we want, where his health is and all that, so that’ll take some time to sort through,” Van Gundy said of Granger.
