The Detroit Pistons have their new general manager.
Troy Weaver has agreed to join the Pistons’ front office, a source familiar with the negotiations confirmed to The Detroit News on Thursday morning.
The source requested anonymity because the team had not officially announced the hiring.
Weaver has been in the Oklahoma City Thunder organization for a decade, as an assistant general manager and most recently the vice president of basketball operations.
Weaver, 53, will report to a Pistons' front office headed by Ed Stefanski.
