The Pistons and Charlotte Hornets were the only teams with 22 back-to-back scheduling situations and Detroit owner Tom Gores said something should be done about it.
“I’ve mentioned it before,” Gores said. “I haven’t complained to much to the board. But we need to be treated fairly.”
Gores said it is an issue that must be addressed, and after four years as Pistons owner said he feels more comfortable voicing such opinions before his peers now than ever before.
“I do, because coming in, you don’t want to create too much chaos, and I just feel so fortunate to be part of the NBA, to be owner of the Detroit Pistons, and so yeah, I feel a little bit more comfortable with it, yes,” he said.
