The Detroit Pistons traded Stanley Johnson for Thon Maker at the trade deadline this past season. Maker quickly became a fan favorite in Detroit due to his hustle and earning himself a bloody mouth in his first game in a Pistons jersey.
It was a bit of a rocky season for Maker with the Pistons, which saw many ups and downs. Maker is full of potential, but after ending his third season time is running out for him to become more than just a 15-18 minute per game guy.
If Maker wants to have a more consistent impact on the game and have a chance at tapping into his own potential, he should look to improve these three things this off-season.
