Three takeaways: Detroit Pistons vs. Brooklyn Nets

The Detroit Pistons played their first game at Little Caesar’s Arena since April of last season. It was a losing effort to the Brooklyn Nets.

The Nets got off to a hot start that seemed to carry them throughout the entire game. They built an 18-6 lead in the first quarter that the Pistons were never able to overcome.

It was ugly early on. The offense looked stagnant and no one was getting open looks. Even when the Pistons were playing well on the defensive end, the Nets found a way to either get to the basket late in shot clock or hoist up a three that went in.
