Dec. 25, 1971: Bob Lanier sets the Pistons franchise record for most field goals attempted in a game (41) and half (24) in a 120-118 overtime win over the Milwaukee Bucks. Lanier finished 16 for 41, leading Detroit with 35 points. Dave Bing holds Detroit's record for most made field goals, 22, in Feb. 1971.
