With the 15th pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, the Detroit Pistons select…..Rui Hachimura, from Gonzaga University!
At least that’s what I hope to hear on June 20th.
I previously listed Rui Hachimura in part of my past article, Three Players The Detroit Pistons Could Draft at Pick No. 15 in the 2019 NBA Draft.
But here is why ultimately, I hope the Pistons choose Hachimura.
Rui Hachimura is a 6’8″ forward hailing from Toyama, Japan, and spent the last three years with the Gonzaga Bulldogs.
He is an inspiration in his original home of Japan, becoming one of the best basketball players to ever come from Japan and the first biracial Japanese basketball player to make it big, being of both African and Japanese descent.
