AUBURN HILLS -- A group made up mostly of bench players proved crucial down the stretch for the Detroit Pistons on Tuesday in a 102-91 win over the Chicago Bulls.
Tobias Harris joined Ish Smith, Darrun Hilliard, Jon Leuer and Aron Baynes as the Pistons outscored the Bulls 31-19 and held Chicago to 7 of 21 shooting.
Those five started the quarter and played more than eight minutes together, dominating the Bulls' bench before combining to hold the rest of Chicago's starting lineup not named Jimmy Butler to 1 of 8 shooting.
Butler scored eight points and led all scorers with a game-high 32, but Pistons coach Stan Van Gundy opted to ride with that five for most of the fourth quarter.
