Stanley Johnson impresses at The Drew League

Stanley Johnson’s summer just keeps getting better.

After a stellar NBA summer league performance where he finished second in MVP voting, the Pistons’ first round draft pick Stanley Johnson continued to show what he could do at The Drew League in Los Angeles on Sunday. According to Slam Online, Johnson put up a 31 point, 9 rebound performance alongside Piston teammate Andre Drummond who recorded 17 points and 12 rebounds.

Johnson still has yet to play against actual NBA competition but thus far at times has looked like a man among boys. What may be most promising is that his outside shot has looked better than expected.
