Report: Suns sign Langston Galloway to provide shooting off the bench

Langston Galloway is leaving the Detroit Pistons for a bench role and a playoff push with the Phoenix Suns, according to Michael Scott of Hoops Hype. Galloway was one of the few free agents on Detroit’s roster who seemingly had chance of returning to the Pistons.

The Troy Weaver roster purge is now almost complete. Galloway signed a three-year $21 million deal with the Pistons when Stan Van Gundy was in charge. The idea was to provide some defense and dangerous perimeter shooting from either guard position.

Galloway delivered pretty much as advertised during his three years in Detroit.
