It might be back to square one for the Pistons.
After acquiring 7-foot forward Donatas Motiejunas and Marcus Thornton from the Houston Rockets on Thursday at the trade deadline, the deal has been voided, according to reports.
Yahoo Sports’ Shams Charania, citing league sources, reported Monday that the Pistons were in the process of canceling the deal.
The Pistons were concerned about the status of Motiejunas’ back, after he consulted with a back specialist in New York on Friday. They’ve been reviewing his medical history with team doctors and staff at the Detroit Medical Center over the weekend.
