The cap-strapped Pistons are looking to fill out their final roster spot and have expressed interest in NBA veteran Kosta Koufos, Yahoo’s! Chris Haynes reported on Sunday.
Koufos, 30, didn’t have a lot to offer the Sacramento Kings as they made an effort to develop their younger forwards. He played in 42 games and averaged 12 minutes per game.
But there’s reason to believe Koufos could provide a role on a nightly basis for a Pistons team pushing for the playoffs. He’s played in 37 playoff games and had six seasons of playing 71 regular season games or more from 2012-18.
