Sacramento, Calif. — While Pistons center Andre Drummond has garnered much of the attention for his play the first two weeks of the season, point guard Reggie Jackson has been able to avoid some of the spotlight.
Some of that changed last weekend with his 40-point performance against the Trail Blazers, which included a franchise-tying 26 points in the fourth quarter. He started the West Coast trip by scoring nine of the final 12 against the Suns.
“They were two great games, two great finishes,” coach Stan Van Gundy said. “For his confidence and his leadership, those are big.
