Reggie Bullock will sit out the Detroit Pistons' opening night game with back spasms, thr team announced less than two hours before tip off against the Toronto Raptors.
Bullock's injury opens the door for rookie Michael Gbinije to get his first real NBA minutes. Gbinije was originially going to be inactive.
Coach Stan Van Gundy has been extremely positive about Gbinije's effort and performance throughout preseason.
