Pistons will rely on unconventional lineups at times

EAST LANSING - The Detroit Pistons began their exhibition finale Friday with a familiar starting five, the group that's likely to start the season on Wednesday.

But new coach Dwane Casey is noted for his unconventional lineups, and he deployed some new wrinkles during the 129-110 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers at the Breslin Center.

Point guards Reggie Jackson and Ish Smith were on the floor together for the start of the second and fourth quarters. They were joined at one point by Langston Galloway and Luke Kennard to form a four-guard unit around back-up center Zaza Pachulia.
