Pistons want to 'knock the rust off' Jackson tonight

Auburn Hills — The Pistons are planning to have point guard Reggie Jackson back in the lineup for Thursday night's preseason game against the Brooklyn Nets at The Palace.

Jackson, who has been limited for the past week because of soreness in his Achilles, needs to get final clearance from the training staff, but is looking forward to making his season debut, after the Pistons' loss to the Indiana Pacers on Tuesday.

"It'll be good to get him back out there tonight because he's been limited," coach Stan Van Gundy said. "This will be his first go of the week.
