Pistons wake up late, extinguish Suns

Auburn Hills — It was almost as if the Phoenix Suns were conceding the game before it even started. They rested guards Devin Booker and Eric Bledsoe, along with Brandon Knight, Leandro Barbosa and Tyson Chandler.

As they’ve struggled through another losing season, the Suns looked to be giving the Pistons an easy win.

At least it looked that way.

The Pistons trailed by double digits in the third quarter and had to pull their way out of another offensive slump, bouncing back in the fourth quarter for a 112-95 win over the Suns on Sunday afternoon at The Palace.
