Your Detroit Pistons defeated the New York Knicks, 115-89, to end the season 41-41, in the playoffs for only the second time in a decade. Andre Drummond put up 20 points and 18 rebounds in 27 minutes, and Luke Kennard poured in 27 points off the bench to lead the Pistons in scoring.
The Pistons deserved to make the playoffs. Don’t let the fact that they clinched the lowest seed on the final day of the season convince you otherwise. Don’t let people who tell you that finishing at the top of the middle of the JV conference isn’t something.
