The Detroit Pistons struggled without star center Andre Drummond and couldn’t withstand Miami’s ball movement and 3-point barrage falling 111-104. The Heat heat 17 of their 34 3-point attempt and had 29 assists on 43 field goals.
While it’d be easy to dwell on what went wrong for Detroit, including poor play from backup center Eric Moreland, a rusty Avery Bradley in his first game back in over two weeks and stagnant late-game offense, I’d rather focus on the positives.
With Drummond out nursing a rib contusion, Boban Marjanovic started at center.
