That went south fast.
The Cleveland Cavaliers and LeBron James have their sights set on an NBA Finals appearance so it's no surprise they decided to make quick work of the Detroit Pistons and cruise the rest of the night. The outgunned Pistons lost 109-97, but the score doesn't do justice to just how much the Cavs outplayed Detroit.
The score was 36-14 after the first quarter and 62-37 at halftime. JR Smith was raining 3-pointers, LeBron James had seven assists and the Cavs were shooting 53 percent at the break.
