With free agency over and the Detroit Pistons trapped so far into cap hell that adding additional players or salary is practically unthinkable it’s time to start assessing the team as it is. And there is no place better to begin assessment during the dog days of summer than at the literal bottom — two-way player Keenan Evans.
That is no slight to Evans, he just happened not to be one of the 60 players drafted in June. He certainly has talent, though, and is an intriguing young prospect at Detroit’s biggest area of need — point guard.
