The Detroit Pistons will sign Kay Felder, a 5-foot-9 point guard who starred at Oakland University, to a two-way contract, Yahoo! Sports reported.
The deal could be announced Sunday. Felder is expected to report to the G League Grand Rapids Drive.
Felder appeared in 14 games this season with the Chicago Bulls, averaging 3.9 points and 1.4 assists.
Selected 54th overall by the Atlanta Hawks in 2016, Felder has averaged 3.9 points and 1.4 assists in 54 career games with the Cleveland Cavaliers and Bulls.
Felder, who attended Detroit Pershing High School, played for three seasons at Oakland and averaged 24.
