AUBURN HILLS - A pair of NBA greats, one a Hall of Famer and the other destined to be enshrined, imparted some knowledge on the Detroit Pistons this weekend.
Kevin Garnett checked in on Andre Drummond on Saturday, then Dave Bing spoke to the team on Sunday.
Bing, who starred for the Pistons from 1966-75 and served as Detroit's mayor from 2009-13, touched on a variety of topics.
"The players were glued in," Pistons coach Dwane Casey said. "He did a fantastic job of talking about teamwork, professionalism, of where he sees our team. He knew our team inside and out.
