The Pacers are a half game up on the Pistons in the Eastern Conference, and getting one game closer to winning or tying a season series with a division foe is important as the season nears the halfway point.
In the first matchup, Detroit lost by 12, 94-82. Despite Andre Drummond’s incredible 25 point, 29 rebound night, poor shooting doomed the Pistons. The next time out against Indiana, the Pistons put on a show at the Palace, winning by 22 thanks to 13 3-pointers. Drummond didn’t fill up the stat line in that outing, but Detroit is hoping that the shooting and their center will simultaneously excel to kick off the new year with a victory.
