AUBURN HILLS - Detroit Pistons coach Dwane Casey wants more 3-pointers this season, but quality attempts, not just high volume.
The Pistons' 3-point shot selection is a work in progress. They converted only 25 percent (19-of-76) in their first two preseason games.
"The type of shots we want are the drive, kick, swing shots and right now we're turning down 3-point shots and driving in when we should be shooting those and we're shooting the ones where we should be moving them," Casey said. "It's a process of getting used to that. We're getting up a healthy amount.
