Auburn Hills — With training camp starting on Monday, the Pistons finalized their front-office staff, announcing several promotions on Friday.
Pat Garrity was promoted to associate general manager, after previously serving as director of strategic planning and being moved to assistant general manager in June.
Adam Glessner moves to a role as director of player personnel in addition to his pro scouting duties. Glessner was a coaching associate in Charlotte and worked as a video coordinator when Van Gundy coached in Orlando.
J.R. Holden, in his third season with the Pistons, was promoted to director of international scouting.
