Pistons' pick Bruce Brown anxious for Summer League play

AUBURN HILLS - Nobody is more anxious to start Summer League than Detroit Pistons draft pick Bruce Brown.

It will be his first five-on-five game action in more than five months.

"I can't wait to get out there and prove myself," Brown said.

The Pistons selected the 6-5 combo guard from Miami with the 42nd pick in this year's draft. His season ended on Jan. 27 due to a foot injury that required surgery.

He'll be 100 percent healthy when the Pistons face the Milwaukee Bucks Friday in Las Vegas (7 p.m., NBA-TV).
