After two seasons on the fringes of the Pistons' rotation, it seems that Spencer Dinwiddie may have grown tired of playing more minutes with their D-League affiliate rather than the main club, as the Detroit Free Press' Vince Ellis reveals the point guard wasn't enamored with his situation on the team. Although newly re-signed GM Jeff Bower didn't hint at any morale issues, he did explain to Ellis that trading the Colorado product to the Bulls was made with the second-year guard's future in mind.
"The biggest thing was giving Spencer an opportunity in another situation that could benefit him long-term,'' Bower said.
