Pistons' Meeks faces long road to recovery

Auburn Hills — Reggie Jackson fought his way through a crowd of reporters, seeking his intended target.

"Excuse me," he said.

He wasn't mad at the media. He simply wanted to find injured Pistons guard Jodie Meeks who supported his body with a pair of crutches. Jackson gave Meeks a hug and a smile.

"What's up man? You know I miss you," Jackson said as he broke the embrace.

The Pistons won't see much of Meeks, who will miss three to four months following surgery to repair a non-displaced fracture of the fifth metatarsal, otherwise known as a Jones fracture.
