AUBURN HILLS, Mich. -- Lorenzo Brown shrugged off the question, and rightfully so.
A reporter recently asked the Detroit Pistons point guard if his head was spinning from information overload following the first few days of a Stan Van Gundy-led training camp.
Brown, in his second season in the Pistons organization, was more worried about staying hydrated.
"I was here last year, plus the whole Grand Rapids deal," Brown said. "So, I kind of knew all the plays."
It's that institutional knowledge of the playbook that could help the 6-foot-5, 189-pound Brown win over Van Gundy, the Pistons' president-coach, when it comes time to decide on the Pistons' third point guard and 15th roster spot.
