Lorenzo Brown averaged 14.2 points (shooting 53.1% from the field), 3.4 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 3.6 steals per game in the Orlando Summer League. He was impressively efficient on offense and a pesky defender–as his number suggest.
His play lead many–including us–to believe that he is worthy of a roster spot on the Pistons this season.
Stan Van Gundy recently commented on Brown’s play and his status on the Pistons’ roster.
Van Gundy via Detroit Free Press:
“We don’t want to go into a second year because we want to retain as much flexibility as we can going into KCP’s situation so we don’t want a second year,” Van Gundy said.
